OrthoMesh
OrthoMesh is an application for creating meshes for a range of structured
orthogonal CFD codes, including FLACS, AutoReaGas, Fire Dynamics Simulator (FDS) and
OrthoFlo.
The tool accepts a reference geometry from
GeomAuditry
and exports it for use with the CFD code of choice.
Primary geometry
When exporting for use with a structured orthogonal code, the primary geometry is orthogonalised and aligned
with the CFD mesh, according to the CfdMeshSpacing parameter
specified by the user.
Secondary geometry
When exporting to FLACS and AutoReaGas, the orthogonal secondary geometry is exported
directly as it is stored within the congestion database, and nonorthogonal geometry is
discretised according to the CfdMeshSpacing
parameter specified by the user.
